Scuba Diving Course DescriptionsOpen Water Diver CertificationLearn to dive! This course gives you the skills and certification card you need to dive in any ocean in the world. Sealife Divers' instructors love to teach new divers how to enjoy diving, and how to be a safe and confident diver. We don't rush you, but take each new skill at your pace so you can learn how to dive without stress or pressure.
Referral Open Water Diver CertificationDo your class room work and pool sessions at home, but dive with Sealife Divers in the beautiful Mexican Caribbean. Bring the proper proof from your local dive shop, and Sealife Divers certified PADI or SSI Instructors will take you for your final qualifying dives. Open Water Diver Certification RefresherCertified divers may want to take a refresher course to relearn diving skills or rebuild their diving confidence. If you haven't been on a dive for over one year, or if you have had a bad experience diving in the past, take a refresher course with Sealife Divers. Our friendly, patient, qualified instructors will help you love diving again. It consists of a scuba diving review on land, plus a review of key skills in shallow water. Then a shallow dive is made to approximately 40 feet (12 meters). The option of doing two more dives with your instructor after the scuba review is available. Advanced Open Water Diver CertificationThe Adventures in Diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. Why Advanced Open Water Diver?After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment. Rescue Diver CertificationWhy PADI Rescue Diver?The PADI Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level because you'll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. What do I need to start?
What will I do?Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the five open water sessions, you'll cover:
Medic/First Aid Diver CertificationWhy Emergency First Response?Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations. What do I need to start?
What will I do?This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response - Primary Care and Emergency First Response - Secondary Care. Together, these courses proved extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing optional (yet recommended) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen sections. How long will it take?Depending on the amount of home study, the Primary and Secondary courses maybe completed in as little as four hours. Where can I go from here?This course satisfies your PADI Rescue Diver CPR prerequisite Divemaster CertificationTake the first step in your dive career and become a PADI Divemaster. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. What can PADI Divemaster do?
